During his two decades in the investment industry, Bill has recognized the need for a team approach to best serve his clients. Realizing that each client needs more than just investment management, he’s built a team to anticipate and manage different needs, including financial planning, estate and wealth preservation, and retirement planning.
Bill strives to eliminate stress that can be associated with financial planning, and finds it imperative to understand the needs of each individual client in order to help them pursue both short-term and long-term goals.
He is well-versed in investment management and advisory services, and appreciates the opportunity to discuss retirement planning, financial planning, and estate and wealth preservation in order to develop what he feels is an optimum scenario for each particular situation. Bill understands the importance of determining personal goals and objectives along with risk tolerance in order to obtain measurable results.
A graduate of the Terry School of Business at the University of Georgia, Bill began his career in the investment industry with Prudential Securities in 1994. In 1998, he moved to Savannah, Georgia, with SunTrust Investment Services, where he served for 19 years as a private financial advisor and senior vice president.
In 2017, Bill and his team joined Raymond James, where he served as a member of the Chairman’s Council* and was recognized on the 2020, 2021, and 2024 editions of the Forbes list of Best-in-State Top Wealth Advisors† before transitioning with the group to their current firm.
Bill and his wife, Amy, live on Skidaway Island with their children, Ansley and Wick. In his free time, Bill enjoys boating, golfing, cooking and traveling.
